| Description |
North American and Pelican Nebula. These
regions are at the top of the constellation Cygnus. This
picture shows both of the nebulas with the Pelican
nebula on the right and the North American nebula at the
center. |
| Processing |
This image was made by combining 7
pictures in Images Plus. Each picture was taken at ISO
1600, with a 4 minute exposure, through the 70-200mm
F4.0L Canon Lens set at 200mm. The images were combined
using a Median combine function, with a dark frame
subtracted to reduce noise, and processed with the
"Digital Development" function to reduce the sky glow
and accentuate the nebulas. |
