Ruffed Grouse
Chuck was mowing the lawn this spring when this bird decided to fall in love with our John Deere tractor. Out of the weeds and into the grass he came. Chuck got off the tractor and the bird came right up (actually pecked at Chuck's fingers) to claim his territory. Look at the incredible detail on the feathers. We have never seen one before, and have never seen it again.
