through the TV 85 with the Tele Vue 0.80x field
flattener and an IDAS light pollution filter. |

Stacked 5 exposures of 2.5 minutes each in
Images Plus. No flat frames, dark frames, or noise
reduction. These were all unguided shots using the
Losmandy G11 mount. North is to the right.
M8 (the Lagoon Nebula) is on the left and M20 (the
Trifid Nebula) is on the right. You can also see M21 (an
open cluster of stars) on the far right. An amazing
amount of detail from a digital camera. |
