| Description |
Solar prominences using a Nikon Coolpix
4500 connected to Barlow Bob's telescope. As often
occurs, the camera is not as sensitive as the human eye
and doesn't have the dynamic range to capture both the
surface and the prominences. I exposed this shot
for the prominences which overexposed the center. |

Processed in Images Plus where I used
the "Brightness Curves" function to black out the bright
center and enhance the prominences. |
