| Description |
After hearing Bill Clinton speak at
Hamilton College, we returned home at about 10:30pm to
find a message on our answering machine from one of our
astronomy club members telling us that there was an
Aurora in progress. We drove out into the country
(to get away from the city lights) and watched the
Aurora for several hours. It was truly beautiful and
streamers of color went from the horizon all the way to
the zenith. We returned home after the Aurora started to
diminish but around 4am it all started up again.
