This is the eastern portion of the Veil
Nebula. The picture doesn't really do justice to the
nebula, there is quite a bit more detail in the upper
left that would come out with longer exposures. |

AP 160 mounted on ATS portable pier.
Taken from our driveway, this pictures is a combination
of 4 shots, 5 minutes each, at ISO 1600. The images were
aligned, combined, and digitally processed in Images
Plus. |
